Paul Blodgett
Director, Goalkeeper Academy, Athlete Development Institute, LLC


Paul was the founder of the highly successful Paul Blodgett Goalkeeper Training School which is known for its high level training of goalkeepers at all age groups including youth, college, professional and world class keepers. The school was the culmination of over thirty years of coaching and teaching experience at the position and its success further solidifies Paul’s reputation as the top goalkeeper trainer in the State of New Jersey. Paul coached the goalkeepers at Rutgers University Men’s team for over twenty years and has worked with the TCNJ Women’s team to make the keeper position a cornerstone of each program. He is the Director of Girls Goalkeeping for NJ Youth Soccer and is also on the NJ ODP staff. Paul is also a part of the License Coaching Staff for both NJYS and US Youth Soccer. He has trained the likes of Jon Conway, former keeper with Red Bull NY (presently with Chicago Fire) and Karina LeBlanc, keeper for the Canadian Women’s National Team and the WPS LA Sol. Paul has worked with countless clubs and high schools throughout New Jersey and has trained literally thousands of goalkeepers in his career.

As Director of the ADI Goalkeeper Academy, Paul directs the comprehensive programming that includes, technical training, tactical challenge sessions, fitness development, match analysis, sports psychology and nutrition integration. Goalkeeper sessions are held privately, in small groups, in seminars, and specialty camps. In addition to his leadership of the ADI Goalkeeper Academy, Paul utilizes his decades of advising high school student athletes on the selection of the “best fit” college to provide the same advice and good counsel to ADI high school student athletes.

Mark Williams
Director, Human Performance, Athlete Development Institute, LLC


Mark has been a highly respected strength and conditioning coach for over 10 years. He has worked with athletes in every sport, and has developing his own unique philosophy on how to achieve peak performance while reducing the risk of overuse injuries. Over the past decade, he has worked with soccer athletes at all levels of the game from club to the professional level. Mark was an all-conference goalkeeper for Montclair State University and played Semi-Professional Rugby League and Union as well. His high profile clientelle includes such notables as Tim Howard (Goalkeeper of US National Team and Everton FC), MLS athletes, Jon Conway of Chicago Fire and Juan Pablo Angel of LA Galaxy, Heather O’Reilly (WPS and US National Team), Nikki Krzysik (WPS and US U23 National Team), and Karina LeBlanc, goalkeeper for the Canadian Women’s National Team. He was the strength and conditioning coach for the New York Metrostars (currently NY Red Bulls) for three seasons, the WPS Champion NY/NJ Sky Blue in 2009 and the New York Dragons of the Arena Football League for three seasons. He is currently the Fitness and Speed Director for the Player Development Academy (PDA) for all academy level teams and is the Fitness Consultant for St. Peter’s College Men’s Soccer Program.

At ADI, Mark works with and develops sports-specific strength and speed programs for athletes in most sports including baseball, basketball, football, golf, field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, martial arts, rugby, soccer, tennis, swimming, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling. His reputation for getting results with his athletes is well documented and he heads the training staff that works with ADI skills coaches from all sports to develop personalized strength, power, speed and agility programs for all ADI student athletes. Mark’s programs are offered one-on-one, in small groups, and to entire teams to effectively integrate the ability to perform the skills of the sport for optimum performance and the avoidance of injuries. Mark also trains coaches on the use of speed activities for warm-up at practice and provides second-phase rehab programs for injured athletes preparing to return to play.

Joe Bellistri
Fitness Trainer

Joe Bellistri, has been a certified fitness professional since 2002. His professional certifications include: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (“CSCS”), National Strength and Conditioning Association Performance Enhancement Specialist, National Academy of Sports Medicine Club Coach, USA Weightlifting Throughout his career, Joe has worked with individuals whose goals include, weight loss, injury prevention, cardiac rehabilitation, pain management, post-rehabilitation, sports specific training, and general fitness.Joe’s training philosophy is qualitative movement. Form and function are of the highest priority. Each person that meets with Joe begins with a detailed assessment to help determine specific needs and review goals. From there, each client is presented with an individualized program designed to achieve those goals.BTS provides an educational, motivating, and enjoyable training experience. You will be challenged to complete workouts you never before imagined. All in the interest of getting you healthy or in the shape you always wanted. Joe is the owner of Bellistri Training Solutions, LLC.

Tom Bilella
Nutritional Specialist

Tom Bilella is a Certified Nutritional Specialist, Certified Clinical Nutritionist and Diplomat of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. He holds a Masters degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and a post-graduate degree in Chiropractic. Bilella’s understanding of the relationship between nutrition and sports performance has resulted in his being selected as a nutrition consultant to the NFL New York Jets as well as the Athlete Development Institute where he provides sports nutrition education, guidance, counseling and motivation for ADI athletes. Tom is the Founder/Director of The Nutrition Treatment Center.

Hugh McDonald
College Planner

Mr. McDonald is a former US Air Force DLI - Russian language studies specialist who has been a college planner since 1993. As a small business owner with several financial planning licenses and former Associate Member of the NJ Financial Administrators, Mr. McDonald specializes in assisting CPA’s and small business owners plan for college for their families. As a multi-state "CPA CPE" HR, Mr. McDonald presents hundreds of seminars and workshops each year to a wide range of parents seeking guidance on the daunting task of selecting a college for their son or daughter. The focus of the College Selection Program at ADI is to identify the “Best” College for the student athlete while reducing college costs by 0%-30%-60%. As part of the program, assistance can be provided for college preparation and sports team participation for interested student athletes.

David Pilchman
Ph D., Sport Psychologist

As a sport psychologist, Dr. David Pilchman is committed to bringing “values-based” performance excellence to athletes and teams of all levels. His work with professional, college, high school, and junior competitors assists them in achieving their full potential. He has been credited with being an instrumental part of numerous team successes with many of the New Jersey area colleges including Rutgers, The College of New Jersey, Princeton, Seton Hall, Monmouth, St. Peters and Farleigh Dickinson. Dr. Dave has been credited with being an instrumental part of numerous team successes with many of the New Jersey area colleges including Rutgers, The College of New Jersey, Princeton, Seton Hall, Monmouth, St. Peters and Farleigh Dickinson. Extending outside of the region, he has also been called upon by Lafayette, St. Johns and Villanova University teams and has served as an advisor to the National High School Coaches Association. Over the past two decades, he has worked with men and women in a wide variety of sports including soccer, lacrosse, football, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, equestrian, archery, and track and field. Dr. Dave has also authored the training CD: “The Enlightened Warrior: An Athlete’s Guide to Winning.” Dr. Dave is the owner of NJ Peak Performance.

Keith Elmore
Keith has over 20 years of expertise in the Strength and Conditioning and Personal Training industry. He has been a CNN Health and Fitness correspondent and currently carries advanced credentials from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Aside from being a business owner and consultant, Keith has also worked in radio and as an author of articles in numerous periodicals. Keith's specialty has been working with athletes at the collegiate and professional levels including those in the NFL, NBA, MLB and LPGA. He currently splits time between Morristown NJ and Asheville NC where he develops skill specific, performance enhancement programs for his athletes.

Erin Guthrie
Erin Guthrie was a four year starting goalkeeper at Rutgers University and two-time captain. During her career at Rutgers she earned Second-Team All-American honors, was named All Big East twice, including Big East Goalkeeper of the Year. In 2009, Erin was named to the MAC Herman Trophy watch list, nominated for the Lowe’s Senior Class Award, member of the Big East All-Academic Team, named Rutgers Woman of the Year, and was the Headly-Singer Award Recipient. Guthrie is also the current record holder for most career shutouts and minutes played at Rutgers University. In 2010, Guthrie was picked third in the fourth round of the WPS draft by the Bay Area FC Gold Pride and was a member of their 2010 WPS Championship team. In the fall of 2010, Guthrie began her coaching career as a Student Assistant Coach for the Rutgers Women’s soccer team, she is currently a Players Development Academy (PDA) Goalkeeping Coach and the head coach of the girls U-9 PDA Storm. Guthrie graduated in December 2010 from Rutgers with a degree in History.

Samantha Hirsh
A recent graduate of Syracuse University with a B.S. in Inclusive Elementary & Special Education, Samantha was a four-year member of the Division I Syracuse University Women’s Soccer team. Samantha is currently the varsity Goalkeeper Coach along with JV and Middle School Assistant Soccer Coach at The Montclair Kimberley Academy while pursuing her Masters Degree in the highly specialized field of Severe or Multiple Disabilities. Samantha is the current record holder for career shutouts at MKA and brings her unique education and communication skills to young athletes looking to advance to the next level at ADI. Samantha has a U.S.S.F. “F” License and has certification in T4 Assessment Testing.

Kristin Mikolajczyk
After a four year playing career at Division II Slippery Rock University where she earned a Bachelors Degree, Kristin served two years as Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Bloomfield College while also earning a Masters degree. Kristin has a U.S.S.F. “F” License has certification in T4 Assessment Testing. Kristin knows the area soccer community well having been a four-year varsity starter at Clifton High School and brings her passion, teaching abilities and mentoring to young soccer players at ADI.

Vicky Ziolkowski
Vicky is a recent graduate from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelors Degree in exercise science. She was a three year member of the Division II women’s soccer team as a goal keeper and served one year as a student coach. Vicky has trained goal keepers and teams from Wallkill Valley high school and Bloomsburg High school. During her four years at Bloomsburg, she volunteered at Bloomsburg high school to enhance their gym classes and after school fitness programs for athletes and faculty. During high school, Vicky obtained the first team all county and all state awards. She is CPR, AED, and first responder certified and has her coaching F license as well. Vicky is currently studying towards her CSCS Certification.
